Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman will be the keynote speaker for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Missouri River Bridge at Rulo.
The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, September 19th at 3 p-m in Rulo. A tent will be set up for the comfort of those attending the short program.
Citizens of Southeast Nebraska, Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri are invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. It was a letter writing campaign by more than 1,600 people and organizations that helped get the project going. The groundbreaking ceremony is the start of the process to construct a “Bridge to a Bright Future” for the three-state region.
