Falls City Housing Authority
The Housing Authority was formed by the Mayor and City Council in 1967.The mission of the Falls City Housing Authority is to promote and provide affordable, safe and sanitary housing, services of daily living, and to modify the housing project and its operations, as necessary, to meet the needs of the community, without discrimination, and in communications with community agencies.
East View was built in 1969 with Pioneer Plaza in 1979.
East View provides services of daily living including meals, housekeeping, personal care, and transportation. Both complexes are able to lease to all income and ages. Utilities are included in rent. Units have stove, refrigerator and disposal. Laundry rooms are furnished in the main building with washer and dryer hookups in family units.
